The Artists

H1-rubrik behövs här!

Each year, Wallmans Oslo, Stockholm, and Copenhagen hold a major Scandinavian audition, receiving over 1,200 hopeful applicants eager to showcase their talents in singing and dancing. After a careful and selective process, only the best artists remain.

MARIA

Maria is a vibrant 21-year-old from Hønefoss, and as last season you’ll see her both singing and dancing at Wallmans! Maria has extensive stage experience – already at the age of 13, she reached the superfinal in Melodi Grand Prix Junior.

She’s graduated from Bårdar, and has performed and worked as a choreographer for 2entertain’s family entertainment on the Color Line Magic and Fantasy cruise ships. In 2024, she was part of the ensemble in Jul i Blåfjell, and she also teaches musical theatre courses for children.

Maria is always up for a coffee date — preferably with a double iced latte with skim milk in hand. And her favorite chocolate? Japp, without a doubt. After gigs with her dad, they share a King Size Japp on the drive home — a small tradition she truly cherishes.

KAI

Kai Beau Taylor is 20 years old and comes from Sydney, Australia. This season, he will take the stage as a step dancer.

Step dancing has been a part of his life for almost as long as he can remember. At just seven years old, he performed alongside Tap Dogs in front of actress Cate Blanchett. Since then, he has become a four-time World Tap Dance Champion, worked as a lead step dancer at Universal Studios Japan, and studied at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Centre in New York. He has also performed at Theatre Royal Sydney and the Sydney Opera House.

Kai draws inspiration from his idol, Sammy Davis Jr., as well as his family and his late grandfather, Pa, who always encouraged him to stay humble, work hard and treat everyone with respect.

In his spare time, it’s mostly all about football – playing it, watching it, talking about it and debating it. His favourite food is Japanese sweet potato, and when it comes to long-haul flights, the middle seat is definitely one thing he prefers to avoid.

NINNI

Ninni Fredriksen, 23, from Eidsvoll, is one of our fantastic dancers this season! She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Dance from Oslo National Academy of the Arts and has already built up experience across a wide range of productions and performances.

She has danced for artists such as ARY, performed in the production Pinocchopparadokset, and appeared on TV in shows including Idol, Stjernekamp, MGPjr and Allsang på grensen.

When Ninni isn’t dancing, you’ll probably find her on the padel court, out for a run or around the dinner table with good friends. She’s also a huge fan of grilled sausages – so much so that her grandmother has given her the nickname “the sausage girl”.

Fun fact: Ninni actually appeared in the music video for Til Dovre Faller when she was little! Don’t recognise the title? Go ahead and do a quick Google search!

SIMON

Simon Deimel Lund is a musical theatre performer from Köping, Sweden. This season at Wallmans, you’ll see him shine on stage as a singer!

He studied theatre and musical theatre at Wendelsbergs folkhögskola and has spent the past few years working at the show restaurant Golden Hits in Stockholm, which is also part of the Wallmans Group. In other words, he knows all about the combination of dinner, show and high energy!

When Simon isn’t on stage, he enjoys sewing his own clothes, spending time with friends and building Lego. And after the 2026 FIFA World Cup, he suddenly discovered a new interest in football – something he had never been into before!

A fun fact about Simon? He once travelled all the way to Germany by himself for a first Tinder date. What won’t you do in the name of love?

Moritz

In this year’s show, you’ll see Moritz Wagner more often in the air than on the ground – he is our acrobat! Moritz is 24 years old and comes from Austria.

He is self-taught in acrobatics and has built up a wide range of experience in the entertainment industry throughout his career. He has worked in traditional circuses, dinner shows and on cruise ships, and has also been part of Disney’s production of The Lion King.

When Moritz isn’t on stage, he loves travelling and visiting friends around the world. He also enjoys creative activities such as woodworking, painting, writing and reading – and, of course, dancing! He loves learning new dance styles and exploring the cultures and stories behind them.

With a big heart for animals and a love for nature, it may come as no surprise that Moritz feels happiest when he can be outdoors, exploring the world.

PONTUS

Pontus is 22 years old and comes from Eskilstuna, Sweden. He is now embarking on his second season at Wallmans. To join us at Wallmans in Oslo, he has taken a break from the Music Academy at Örebro University — something we’re very grateful for! You will see him at stage as a pianist in the Live Band.

In his free time, he loves watching horror movies with good friends and has recently discovered a passion for cooking. Alongside playing piano, he is also learning to play the double bass. His biggest musical inspiration is Anders Persson, one of Sweden’s top jazz pianists and his former teacher, but he’s also a big fan of pianist Francesca Tandoi.

IDA

You’ll hear her hitting the high notes this season – Ida Sæther Kjørlaug is one of our new vocalists!

Ida is 28 years old, comes from Oslo and has three years of musical theatre training from Bårdar Akademiet. Over the past year, you may have seen her as a show artist on board the Color Fantasy, and she also has five seasons under her belt as an actor in Hakkebakkeskogen at Kristiansand Zoo.

When Ida isn’t on stage, she loves a good “grandma hobby” – especially activities she doesn’t necessarily have to be good at! Baking, cooking, knitting, reading, puzzles, painting and ice skating are all high on her list. She also has a serious weakness for pick-and-mix candy, and if there’s one thing she truly LOVES, it’s Christmas!

Ida draws her greatest inspiration from her friends – a group she describes as talented, creative and kind people.

ANNIE

Annie is already a true Wallmanitt! For two years, she’s been raising the roof at Wallmans Copenhagen with her infectious energy and unstoppable joy for dance. Now, she’s bringing that same spark to Wallmans Oslo, for the second year – and we couldn’t be more excited!

Annie was born and raised in Stockholm and trained at the renowned Balettakademien. She’s also honed her craft through an international study program called Few Steps of Broadway.

And what inspires her the most? Her friends. Talented, driven people she meets along the way. Annie puts it best herself: “WOW! I want to be like you when I grow up.”

Zacharias

Zacharias is 24 years old and comes from the small Swedish town of Säter. He is now embarking on his second year with Wallmans. With two years of jazz studies in Örebro and experience as a freelance musician, he’s a true rhythm master. He’s a beast on the drums — which is why he’ll be a key part of this year’s live band. And if you catch him with a mic in hand, it’s usually jazz or country you’ll hear — his deep bass voice fits those genres perfectly.

A fun fact about Zacharias is that he actually played guitar before he started playing drums.

Jenny

Jenny is 24 and comes from the beautiful island of Gotland in Sweden. This is her second season at Wallmans! She holds a three-year music degree from a Swedish Folkhögskola, and as last season, we’re excited to have her join our live band as the bass player!

We warmly welcome Jenny to Norway, where she’s perfectly at home thanks to her love of the great outdoors. She’s a family-oriented person who loves spending time with friends. Her biggest inspirations come from fellow musicians, nature, and being surrounded by talented people.

LASSE

Lasse is 25 years old and from Malmö, Sweden. He is with us for the fourth consecutive year as a guitarist in our live band. After graduating from Rytmus Musikgymnasium, he worked as a guitarist, but before that, his passion for cooking led him to work as a chef.

Lasse also has a natural talent for writing music and enjoys playing the guitar late into the night.

Hjördis

Hjördis is 22 years old and hails from Skåne in southern Sweden. As in last year’s show, you’ll see her both as a singer and a violinist – a powerhouse of voice and strings.

Coming from a musical family, Hjördis has sung everything from jazz to prog rock. At just 12 years old, she performed in the musical production at Wallmans Copenhagen – and now she’s back, this time as a singer and violinist – A true full circle moment. It’s worth mentioning that her father was responsible for the music production that year.

Fun fact? In 2023, she and her sister Signe took the stage at the iconic Melodifestivalen, where they performed the song “Edelweiss”!
